Join Dr. Perry for a dynamic, interactive afternoon workshop where you will experience a greater connection to your pelvic floor and the power it holds. This workshop is tailored for women and appropriate for all levels. It will be of relevance to every woman who wants to better understand and support her pelvic floor throughout her lifetime. Pelvic Floor Paint Night

Event Date: August 31, 2023

The pelvic floor's importance in our daily function is often under appreciated. This workshop will spotlight one of our bodies most amazing systems and help you learn how to engage and integrate you pelvic floor for optimum function.

You're in for a night of self-connection, exploration, and creative expression that will be perfect for a ladies night out, mom & daughter date, a bonding night for women-centered organizations, or a solo self-care experience.

$40/person for reservations completed before August 1st. $50/person for August registration but keep in mind- this event will sell out! Your investment includes cost of materials, painting instruction, pelvic floor workshop, giveaways, hor d'oeuvres & cash bar.

This class is hosted by Nanci Winterhalter, Yoga Teacher/Therapist, MS, PT and Justina Perry, PT, DPT, PRPC, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and owner of Oshun Physical Therapy & Pelvic Health. Justina specializes in Pelvic rehabilitation and women’s health. Nanci is a yoga teacher at the E-RYT level, a Certified Yoga for Cancer Teacher, a Certified Accessible Yoga Teacher and a Physical Therapist (MS, Columbia University). Nanci is also a Professional Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT through Spanda Yoga Movement Therapist Training (SPYT).

In this class, you will be introduced to basic anatomy and function of the deep core and pelvic floor, common symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction, and when you should seek guidance from a healthcare professional. Nanci will guide you through a gentle seated yoga practice to help you apply these principles to movement. This workshop is tailored for women and appropriate for all levels.
